A Proven Track Record

As a six year, three term, City Councilor. Twice elected Council President, I represented the residents of Ward 6. I have served on the Board of Directors of the Auburn-Lewiston Airport, Lewiston Finance Committee and the Lewiston-Auburn Economic Growth Council. Currently, I serve as the Chair of the Lewiston School Committee and as the Vice Chair on the Board of Directors of Western Maine Transportation Service.

I understand the need for investment while being fiscally responsible. While serving as Lewiston City Council President, I pushed for and got a more aggressive debt reduction policy enacted that requires supermajority votes to override. This policy has resulted in significant savings to our city. Also, I have successfully advocated for reasonable improvements to our public spaces including the riverfront area.

Vision for the City

My Political Vision

We can and will be a community that works for common goals, where neighbors help neighbors so that Lewiston remains a place we all remain proud of. We as a community must recognize that to create and maintain a vibrant locally driven economy, it will require finding community solutions and it will require all of us, working together, to move this city forward.
